We are incredibly proud to share that the Vaan R5 has been nominated for European Yacht of the Year 2026!

And just like every Vaan, the R5 is crafted from circular materials and is almost entirely recyclable—a true embodiment of our mission: Sail the Planet.

The European Yacht of the Year is selected each year by Europes leading yachting journalists from some of the best magazines in the field. Together they select, test and vote the winner. Being nominated by these industry experts is a fantastic honour boost for all of us at Vaan. It is nice that our efforts towards sustainable yacht building are being recognised, and that sustainability and great sailing performance can go hand in hand.
