Vaan R4 arrives in San Francisco

About a year ago, almost exactly to the day, a proud Vaan R4 owner departed from Vaan Basecamp in Hellevoetsluis, Holland. His goal: sailing it home to San Francisco.
368 days later, after sailing the Mediterranean, crossing the Atlantic, taking the Panama canal and pounding the last leg North on the Pacific Ocean, he sailed under the Golden Gate Bridge. An iconic finish line for a life changing journey.
We salute this owner, and all other captains that Sail the Planet!
