VAAN YACHTS WINS INNOVATION AWARD

At the start of Europe’s largest in-water boatshow, Vaan Yachts received the Innovation award for Manufacturing process and products with low environmental impact. Out of 120 candidates, the jury recognized the effort of Vaan Yachts to reduce the carbon footprint of boat building.

As jury member Guillaume Arnaud des Lions put it:
“Vaan is pushing the limit of recycling, an up-step in our industry. A smart and trendy design, 49ft sailing boat with full electric propulsion, a 60 procent recycled aluminium hull, PEFC certified cork decking, and 100% recyclable catamaran.”

THE INNOVATION ROUTE
The Cannes Yachting Festival at the heart of the French Riviera, hosts an eclectic offer of nearly 700 boats, from 5 to 50 meters. With the Innovation Route the organization showcases the must-see exhibitors with groundbreaking technologies and eco-conscious initiatives that are redefining the future of yachting.
